We are an SME that provides telemetry devices for hazardous areas within the industrial environment.
We also build, install, commission and maintain the gas supply network with our control and odorization systems as part of new and on-going contracts.
Job Summary
The day‑to‑day role can be varied as we have numerous products across the electronic and mechanical disciplines.
Our job is to assemble and test the sub‑components and then final product according to strict industry and internal guidelines and practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail.
Some experience with electrical assemblies and testing is preferred, but full training will be provided to a candidate eager to start a career in an industrial setting.
This is a full‑time position.
Training for all technical skills required will be provided, and a clear development pathway detailed to enable the successful applicant to progress within the company.
Responsibilities
- The role includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Assemble raw materials and components to build our product(s) or system(s).
- Accurate record keeping during test and assembly process.
- To assist in the preparation of IIo T products, their labelling, packaging and dispatch.
- To perform visual inspection and testing of finished products.
- Ensure a high quality of service to the customer
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and company procedures.
- Participate in the preparation and cleaning of equipment and supplies to maintain a tidy and organized work area maximizing productivity in line with lean manufacturing principles.
- Ensure adequate and appropriate stock of equipment and supplies.
- To alert production supervisor of any issues that may be of detriment to the production plan.
- Basic Qualifications/Experience
Any experience showing technical skills, interests, or precision work will be beneficial.
For example, use of hand tools, electrical/electronics, mechanics etc.
- 2+ Years of recent experience as a production operative/assembler or similar
- Experience with ERP systems in a production environment is preferred
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Required personal attributes
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Practical diagnostic and problem‑solving capability.
- Can work alone but also able to contribute as part of a highly functioning team.
- Can demonstrate attention to detail brought about by taking pride in their work.

Full‑time on‑site in Barlaston, Stoke‑on‑Trent.
