Job Summary

A Production Operative is responsible for carrying out manufacturing and assembly activities safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. The role involves operating production equipment, assembling products, inspecting finished goods, and ensuring that production targets are achieved while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Assemble, inspect, pack, and label products according to specifications.
• Meet production, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Report defects, equipment faults, and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support 5S activities.
• Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve departmental objectives.

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly environment.
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures.
• Physically capable of performing manual handling and standing for extended periods where required.
