Overview

Industrial Tester – Redditch, United Kingdom. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Tester to carry out functional and performance testing of large air compressors. This role ensures that all units meet safety, quality, and operational standards before dispatch.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical testing of industrial air compressors
  • Interpret test specifications and procedures
  • Record and analyse test data, identifying faults and non-conformities
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and test records
  • Support continuous improvement in testing processes
  • Assist with final inspection and customer-specific test requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial equipment testing (preferably compressors or rotating machinery)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and test documentation
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and standards
