Job Summary
This is a Graduate Process Engineer role, providing hands-on exposure to real-world process engineering projects. You will be involved in the design of ejectors and engineered systems, applying core engineering principles such as heat and mass balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, process control, and P&ID/PFD development. You will also support Front End Engineering Design (FEED) activities and process simulations (e.g. Aspen HYSYS). You will work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team comprising process, mechanical, and software engineers, supporting the Sales, R&D and Projects departments with technical input during conceptual and detailed process design stages. In addition, you will support other departments through the preparation and review of engineering calculations, functional design specifications, datasheets, reports, other technical documentation, and contribute to the ongoing development of internal design methods and software tools.
Responsibilities
- Apply fundamental engineering principles (including heat and mass balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and process control) to support the process design of ejectors and engineered systems. This includes preparing process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, operating and control philosophies, heat and mass balances, and process simulations (Aspen HYSYS).
- Provide technical support to other departments within Transvac, including enquiry support and assistance on live contracts.
- Support site-based activities at client locations, including exhibitions, commissioning, troubleshooting, equipment health checks, internal and client HAZOPs, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and the preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and site visit reports.
- Interface with external parties such as clients, suppliers, and training providers as required.
- Assist with the delivery of technical training and presentations to internal and external stakeholders, with support from senior engineers.
Basic Qualifications
