An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a client of ours, a leading Medical Device Company based on the outskirts of Leeds currently looking to recruit a reliable and hands-on Tissue Harvesting Technician to collect pericardium tissue at approved abattoirs and support the medical device manufacturing process. This is a permanent opportunity to work for a leading international medical device company. Starting Salary - £27,360 (increase to £29k after probation).
Job Details
- Harvest pericardium tissue following strict work instructions.
- Maintain safe and clean working environments at all times.
- Support process improvements and R&D activities.
- Handle and store materials safely.
- Complete documentation accurately (GDP/GMP).
- Assist with inventory and production support tasks.
- Perform quality checks on work completed.
- Follow all EHS, Health & Safety and GMP requirements.
Qualifications / Skills
- GCSEs or equivalent.
- Full UK drivers licence.
- Experience in abattoirs (advantageous).
- Experience in tissue sourcing or medical device manufacturing (preferred).
- Able to work independently off-site and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Understanding of GMP/controlled environments.
