The D365 Project Manager reports to the Head of Project Management and is part of the Service Delivery Team. You will lead teams of developers and consultants and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the efficient implementation of projects. This role requires you to demonstrate ownership of project deliverables and commitment to quality, on time, on-budget delivery and will deliver regular communication and reporting to keep project stakeholders (internal and external) up to date on all aspects of your projects.
- Proven experience in leading and delivering technology projects, in a customer facing role.
- Strong project management skills with expertise in planning, executing, and monitoring projects using industry-standard methodologies.
- Detailed approach to project management tools, such as MS Project or similar with appropriate rigor for management of costs, resources and the project activities.
- Clear understanding of the software development lifecycle and delivering a plan to this using the appropriate methodology.
- Proven experience of budgeting and financial management principles, with the ability to manage project budgets and track expenses.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Outstanding organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to switch tasks easily.
- Experience of working as part of a Scrum team or similar Agile discipline.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps is desirable.
Successfully plan, execute and monitor technical projects from initiation to completion, adhering to timelines, budgets and quality standards. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Delivering good quality and regular communication both internally and externally. Actively monitoring and managing project issues, providing early mitigation of risks to ensure right first-time delivery within the budget and timescales. Working closely with the Head of Project Management and Heads of Delivery Teams to plan project resourcing. Ensuring chargeable and non-chargeable project work is monitored and well managed. Project reporting on active projects and inputting into financial forecasting. Working closely with the sales team and senior technical resources in a project delivery pre-sales capacity to help evaluate sales opportunities and secure new business. Organising and prioritising your own workload appropriately, reporting risks and exceptions to the relevant manager. Supporting best practice in Ingentive, including conformance to and continuous improvement of relevant Quality Management System (QMS) processes and templates. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and apply that knowledge to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies.
