The D365 Senior Finance Consultant is part of the Consulting Team, reporting to the Head of Consulting. The role is client‑facing and involves delivering industry‑leading Microsoft Dynamics solutions across the entire project life cycle, from pre‑sales work through go‑live and ongoing support. You will work both off‑site and on‑site, and you will be encouraged to develop your Dynamics knowledge and achieve relevant certifications.
- 5+ years of finance business experience; prior experience with D365 required
- Demonstrated credibility with clients and ability to quickly understand how our products add value
- Proven consulting experience
- Strong listening and problem‑solving skills; able to work under pressure
- Ability to assimilate information from various sources and manage conflict or sensitive situations
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills with the ability to execute daily tasks
- Commercial awareness and dedication to delivering maximum ROI for clients
- Experience implementing finance functionality within D365 (e.g., project accounting, inventory valuation)
- Experience designing and coordinating multi‑site or multi‑national implementations; Microsoft D365 accreditation desirable
- Maintenance of industry‑specific knowledge to help clients follow best‑practice processes
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Solid finance background (ACA/ACCA/CIMA part‑qualified; fully qualified desirable but not essential)
Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the successful installation and maintenance of client software systems, including off‑site and onsite work
- Train on Ingentive BUILT methodology and Microsoft methodologies for D365 solution delivery
Daily Responsibilities:
- Delight clients with exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate awareness of upselling and additional company capabilities
- Ensure quality control of all deliverables
- Support pre‑sales activities as required
- Communicate progress clearly with Project Managers
- Communicate effectively with senior management and junior staff at clients
- Plan implementation and deliver value‑added work within scope, deadline, and budget
- Run client workshops on business processes, requirements, and system design
- Perform business and systems analysis and documentation
- Conduct product design and gap analysis against standard product functionality
- Produce design, system, user, and procedural documentation
- Configure and set up applications
- Provide system training to internal and external clients
- Develop and deliver testing strategies
- Assist teammates in skill development
- Recommend actions consistent with Ingentive’s values, objectives, and goals
- Maintain strong organisational, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Exercise business judgment supporting Ingentive’s strategy and vision
- Demonstrate a desire for excellence in all deliverables
