The Microsoft D365 Supply Chain Consultant is part of the Consulting Team, reporting to the Head of Consulting. The role is a client facing position, delivering industry leading Microsoft Dynamics solutions. The D365 Supply Chain Consultant will have a strong Supply Chain and Dynamics background to deliver the successful implementation and maintenance of our clients D365 solutions. You will need a demonstrable history of consultancy experience as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients and project teams.

Your experience and knowledge of D365 solutions and associated business processes combined with an appreciation of associated technologies are imperative to support your role at Ingentive. This is a varied and demanding role involving all aspects of implementing Dynamics solutions from pre‑sales work through the project life cycle to go‑live and on‑going support. Your involvement with clients will include off‑site and on‑site work and you will be encouraged to develop your Dynamics knowledge and achieve relevant certifications.

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Previous experience of D365 F&SCM
  • Required to demonstrate credibility with the client and quickly understand how our products will add value to our services
  • Proven consulting experience
  • Good listening skills, with the ability to quickly resolve problems, action solutions with the ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding and assimilating information from various sources
  • Being able to recognise and deal with conflict or sensitive situations
  • A clear ability to organise your own time and resources, and execute daily
  • Commercial awareness and total dedication to delivering maximum return on investment for our clients
  • Self‑motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a team based consulting environment
  • Demonstrated experience implementing the finance functionality within D365 (including project accounting and inventory valuation)
  • Experience designing and coordinating multi‑site or multi‑national implementations
  • Microsoft D365 accreditation
  • Maintaining industry specific knowledge to help our clients follow best practise processes
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal

Responsibilities:

  • Delighting our clients with exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate awareness around upselling and understanding of additional company capabilities
  • Ensuring quality control of all your deliverables
  • Be involved in Pre‑sales assistance when required
  • Clear and concise communication with Project Managers on project progress
  • Effective communication with senior management as well as junior staff at our clients
  • Implementation planning and the delivery of value added work, to scope, deadline and budget
  • Running client workshops on business processes, business requirements and system design
  • Business and systems analysis and documentation
  • Product design and gap analysis to standard product functionality
  • Production of design, system, user and procedural documentation
  • Application configuration and setup
  • Provide system training to both internal and external clients
  • Development and delivery of testing strategies
  • Assist others in the team to grow and build their skills
  • Recommends actions that are consistent with Ingentive’s values, objectives, and goals
  • Must possess good organisational, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Exercises strong business judgment supporting Ingentive’s strategy and vision
  • Always demonstrate a desire for excellence in everything you deliver

  • Consistent positive client feedback relating to project work
  • Achieving objective targets set in monthly one to one reviews
  • Completing high quality self managed tasks on time and to budget
  • Maintaining great communication with clients and the team
  • Adherence to Ingentive quality standards and assurance
  • Maintain knowledge of the Dynamics product and understand road map items, bringing new knowledge and features in to use at the earliest opportunity
  • Maintain and certify on Dynamics, AI and PowerPlatform technologies
