An established US-based construction advisory and disputes firm is expanding into the UK market and is seeking a Construction Disputes Lead to launch and grow its London presence. This is a founding leadership role with full responsibility for building a UK platform covering claims, disputes, expert services, and litigation support. You will have a genuine opportunity to shape strategy, hire a team, win work, and establish market presence, with a clear pathway to equity or partnership for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment and growth of the UK construction disputes practice
- Develop and execute the UK market entry strategy
- Originate and deliver work across:
- Construction claims & disputes
- Expert witness and litigation support
- Delay analysis, quantum, and forensic advisory
Profile
- Senior disputes professional currently operating at Director, Partner, or equivalent level
- Strong background in construction claims, disputes, or expert services
- Experience acting as Expert, Lead Consultant, or senior advisor on complex matters
- Established UK legal and construction network (law firms, clients, or both)
- Commercial mindset with a proven ability to win work
- Entrepreneurial approach and comfort with building something from the ground up
