This isn't a support role — it's a position of genuine responsibility. - Consolidated & Entity-Level Reporting — Produce financial statements that stand up to scrutiny across multiple UK entities
- Board Pack & Group Reporting — Own the monthly Board Pack and Group submissions — the numbers leadership relies on
- Capex, Fixed Assets & Balance Sheet Governance — Keep a tight grip on asset management and balance sheet integrity
- Loan Schedules & Cash Flow — Maintain loan schedules and support cash flow forecasting to keep the business on track
- External Audit Leadership — Act as the primary contact for external auditors; coordinate interim and year-end audits across all UK entities and own the Audit File with full readiness at all times
- Continuous Improvement — Drive financial data integrity, implement audit recommendations, and push for smarter controls
What You'll Bring
- Fully or part-qualified accountant — ACA or ACCA preferred; CIMA considered
- 3+ years' hands-on experience in multi-entity consolidation and financial control
- A proven track record of leading external audits and managing auditor relationships
- Strong technical grounding in FRS 101/102, IFRS, and UK GAAP
- Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency
- An analytical, organised mindset — with the commercial awareness to see beyond the numbers
