Our client is a successful hospitality group operating a portfolio of bars, restaurants and hotels across the UK. As part of a significant finance transformation programme, the business is implementing Oracle NetSuite, with go-live planned for April 2027.

The implementation is already underway, with the Chart of Accounts, reporting structures and subsidiary configuration established. They are now seeking an experienced Finance Systems Accountant to lead the finance workstream through the remaining stages of the implementation and ensure a successful transition into business-as-usual.

This is a key opportunity to play a central role in delivering a business-critical transformation programme and shaping the future finance function of a growing organisation.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the finance elements of the Oracle NetSuite implementation, working closely with senior finance stakeholders, operational teams and the external implementation partner.

You will ensure NetSuite is configured to support the financial, reporting and operational requirements of a complex, multi-site hospitality business, whilst overseeing finance process design, data migration, testing, training and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance workstream for the Oracle NetSuite implementation.
  • Act as the link between Finance, Operations, IT and the implementation partner.
  • Support the design and refinement of the Chart of Accounts, reporting structures and subsidiary configuration.
  • Ensure NetSuite meets the reporting and control requirements of a multi-entity organisation.
  • Manage financial data cleansing, validation and migration.
  • Coordinate finance testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support implementation of key finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations, Intercompany Accounting and Multi-Entity Reporting.
  • Develop finance processes, documentation and user guidance.
  • Deliver training and support user adoption across Finance.
  • Resolve implementation issues and support a successful go-live.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven hands-on Oracle NetSuite implementation experience.

This is a specialist appointment, and candidates must have previously delivered, or played a significant role in delivering, at least one end-to-end Oracle NetSuite implementation. Experience of implementing other ERP systems without NetSuite experience will not be considered.

You will ideally have:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle NetSuite financial modules and functionality.
  • Experience of Chart of Accounts design, financial reporting structures and multi-entity environments.
  • Experience of finance process improvement, data migration, system testing and UAT.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • The confidence to challenge processes and drive continuous improvement.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a successful organisation during a significant period of transformation and play a key role in implementing a modern ERP platform that will support future growth.

You will work closely with senior leadership and the implementation partner, influencing finance processes and delivering lasting improvements across the business.
