Warehouse & Logistics Operative / Driver to join their busy logistics team.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

You'll play a key part in ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately, while supporting deliveries and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Goods Out
  • Pick and prepare customer orders accurately from digital and printed picking lists.
  • Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage in transit.
  • Label shipments correctly and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Stage completed orders for courier collection and vehicle loading.
  • Goods In
  • Safely unload deliveries using appropriate warehouse equipment.
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Book stock into the warehouse management system accurately.
  • Stock Control
  • Store products safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
  • Carry out stock counts and inventory checks to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Ensure stock is labelled correctly and managed using FIFO principles where applicable.
  • Driving & Logistics
  • Drive company vehicles for local deliveries and transfers between sites as required.
  • Assist with loading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks (where certified).
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse.
  • Follow all Health & Safety, manual handling and COSHH procedures.
  • General Duties
  • Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries relating to stock and deliveries.
  • Support the Logistics Manager and Warehouse team with any additional duties as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using warehouse management systems.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of warehouse operations.

Desirable

  • Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift licence.
  • Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems.
