Growth has been strong. Complexity is increasing. And they need a senior Fortinet SD-WAN engineer who can lead from the front. This is not a “follow the runbook” role. This is ownership, architecture, and execution.
What You’ll Be Trusted With:
- You’ll take the lead on designing and delivering Fortinet SD-WAN solutions across enterprise and service-provider environments — end to end.
- Owning SD-WAN architecture, design, and deployment from HLD to LLD.
- Leading migrations from legacy WANs to modern, secure SD-WAN environments.
- Configuring and optimising FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Acting as the technical authority in front of customers and stakeholders.
- Mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across the team.
- Troubleshooting complex, high-impact networking issues when it matters most.
- Ensuring every deployment meets security, resilience, and best-practice standards.
You’ll be given autonomy, trust, and access to serious projects — not micromanagement.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in network engineering.
- 3+ years delivering Fortinet SD-WAN in production environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer.
- Strong grounding in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPSec, QoS.
- Confidence leading large-scale deployments and migrations.
- The ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and non-engineers.
Nice to have (not blockers):
- Experience in MSP or complex multi-client environments.
- Exposure to cloud integrations (AWS / Azure).
- Fortinet certifications (NSE5–8 / FCP / FCSS).
Location: UK - Remote
Contract: 3 months
Rate: to £450 per day
