An excellent opportunity has arisen at a leading Bank in the City for a Privacy Manager to support the successful delivery of the Privacy Risk programme. The bank has recently gone through a huge transformation Privacy project that is still ongoing to produce a robust Privacy framework across the entire bank. This is still ongoing and the incumbent would very much be part of this integral project.

You will be responsible for managing team members within Privacy Risk. You will provide guidance, development, coaching, driving performance management, and supporting career development. The team promotes, enhances, and maintains good first line of defence responsibility for Privacy risk as defined in the Banks Risk taxonomy.

You will be responsible for supporting and advising the business including key change initiatives and ensuring the business is adhering to the global privacy framework and control standards within the Bank. You will also manage the maintenance of the Record of Processing, supporting the business to complete Privacy Risk Assessments and supporting initiatives that enhance privacy risk management across the business.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about the Privacy agenda and driving key initiatives within the bank and has the ability to influence senior stakeholders where necessary. Good communication skills are needed in order to present complex concepts in a concise manner to the business.
