Ingenico EMEA operates a professional services capability that is responsible for client engagement, delivery of exceptional outcomes, and supporting the business to drive revenue, margin and market relevance. Within this context, this role requires:
- Key Responsibilities
- Contribution to the development/implementation of business plan and effective operation of Professional Services.
- Working to ensure effective support in alignment with demand, productive use of resources and quality assurance of deliverables produced.
- Own the opportunity conditioning process, ensuring portfolio of potential demand is understood, appropriately prioritised and supported through its approval review process.
- Support pre‑sales activity on demand, providing solution guidance, subject matter expertise and customer engagement support to promote Ingenico solutions and capability whilst working to win PS commissions.
- Support and maintain the education of the local sales team in the PS offering.
- Opportunity conditioning and engagement with delivery teams (internal and external) to position and commission PS engagements under direct responsibility.
- Requirement capture, translation and outcome mapping, serving as the voice of the customer at all times whilst balancing the practical reality of current business capability.
- Lead/support the delivery and assurance of all Professional services engagements ensuring focus on the timely delivery of committed outcomes.
- Interface with Group functions and external partners to secure access to new solutions and capability that supports or extends Ingenico’s Professional Services offering.
- Active intelligence gathering drawn from across the payment landscape to inform and enhance Ingenico’s PS offering.
- Support the development of new PS value propositions, supporting collateral and capability (people, process & tooling).
- Prepare/contribute to key performance reporting actively using the insight to control and improve performance.
- Develop and promote (internally & externally) PS thought leadership and credibility through personal and team public profile.
- Promote and protect Ingenico and the Professional Service’s team’s reputation in course of any engagement or general business activity.
- The job will also encompass any other duties and activities required to fulfil the demands of the department as a whole.
Competency / Skill Requirements
- Experience in the payment ecosystem and in particular payment technologies (embedded applications, web‑based solutions).
- Experience in pre‑sales support working with business development teams to support the marketing and promotion of end‑to‑end payment solutions and payment advisory services.
- Demonstrable experience of contributing to the delivery of high value & complex projects of work, in a technology environment.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering high standard of professional solution management services and functional/organisational advocacy.
- Demonstrable experience of managing stakeholders (all levels of seniority) expectation and satisfaction effectively.
- Ability to rapidly absorb and apply process or technical information, with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to capture and translate need providing the bridge to technical domains.
- Self‑supportive with a high degree of initiative & enthusiasm, requiring minimal management.
- Able to apply quality standards to all tasks undertaken, ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and apply it to business needs.

- Ability to balance multiple engagements and clients whilst working on time and to budget.
- Experience of working across mixed stakeholder groups and business levels.
