Mission
Your role will be to “see” the numbers behind the Companies’ lending processes and to turn them into impactful actions. Your mission is to analyze, optimize and identify initiatives that matter, using data and insights to create seamless and efficient customer journeys. This role is about connecting the dots between insights related to customer experience when needing lending products for companies, operational efficiency targets and risk appetite by bringing innovation and reasoning in day-to-day activities.
We are seeking a creative thinker who can navigate complex products and environments, identifying optimal strategies to enhance client outcomes and drive structural digital transformation at ING. You will design and track customer journeys, using process mining skills and identifying high-impact areas. You will create and deliver relevant digital products/processes for Business Banking lending clients. You will use research data and select relevant information to enable analysis of key themes and trends, using primary data sources and business intelligence tools. Research data can refer to product/process/service performance, customer behaviour and market trends or innovations.
Your responsibilities will include fostering innovation, championing customer-centric product & process development, adhering to sustainability and risk management efforts for the products/processes you will oversee. You will be responsible for defining the requirements for the changes as well as risks, controls and generally safeguarding the processes’ efficiency, with strong focus on automatizations, streamlining journeys while controlling non-financial risks. You will interact with key stakeholders of the product, both internal (Tribe Lead, Chapter Leads, POs) and external to the Tribe (Risk, Legal, Ops, Finance, Compliance, Customer Interactions etc.). You represent the Tribe in front of any external stakeholders, whenever necessary for the initiatives undertaken.
Your day to day
- Customer journey mapping, process KRIs setting and observation are key artifacts you need to be familiar with;
- Design new products/features to adapt to clients’ needs, market trends and Business Banking Lending assumed KPIs;
- Work closely with various stakeholders, collect feedback, listen and challenge them so we can build a well-loved Product/Process that delivers the most value;
- Support implementation of digital lending products strategy, aligned with business banking/bank objectives, market expectations;
- Monitor lending products & processes performance, both from a commercial perspective and with regards to risk indicators & operational impact;
- Bridge IT and business through understanding of client needs, digitization and ensure delivery is of the right quality by defining detailed journeys;
- Prepare and be ready to present the proposals for the products/processes for which you will be responsible in front of various stakeholders;
- Translate the voice of the user into clear requirements for your IT colleagues and the definition of acceptance criteria for user stories, ensuring they meet the necessary quality standards;
- Build a safe and secure product and/or process, working together with the team to comply with NFR risk requirements e.g. IT risk, RCSA processes etc;
- Support the agile way of working and actively look for improving it.
What you bring to the team
- University Degree; post graduate qualification is a plus;
- Min 4-6 years of previous experience in developing products/processes/technical solutions is a must;
- Experience with digital/automation processes;
- Previous experience in companies’ lending is preferable;
- Affinity with data and IT architecture;
- Track record of success in transformation, digital approach and operational efficiency programs with a customer-centric approach;
- Strong analytical skills to connect the dots, to set optimal directions, based on facts and figures;
- Ability to work in matrix organization, collaborative mindset;
- Autonomy to set own priorities, structured way of working while flexibility to adapt to continuous change, ‘can do’ mentality, proactive and willing to go the extra mile.
