As a Senior ETL Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building and optimizing the ETL flows that sustain ING's Corporate Data Warehouse — one of the most impactful data assets in the bank. You’ll work hands‐on with IBM DataStage, transforming source data into trusted, high‐quality information used across Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting and business‐critical analytics.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain ETL flows using IBM DataStage and PL/SQL, following established frameworks, mapping specifications, and governance rules;
  • Analyze source systems, understand data lineage, and translate business needs into clear transformation logic;
  • Work with logical and physical data models to ensure accuracy and consistency;
  • Perform unit testing, validate data pipelines, and ensure high‐quality outputs that meet business expectations;
  • Conduct peer reviews and collaborate with other developers to keep standards high;
  • Support System Testing and UAT phases, ensuring smooth delivery into production;
  • Optimize and tune complex ETL jobs for performance and resilience;
  • Contribute to deployment activities and metadata maintenance.

What you bring to the team:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience with large-scale Data Warehouse solutions;
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and data modelling principles;
  • Experience with Oracle Databases (SQL, performance tuning, data structures);
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non‐technical stakeholders;
  • Strong English skills (written and spoken);
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum is considered a plus;
  • Experience with IBM Information Server / DataStage or similar ETL tools is a plus.
