Global Credit Trading team (“GCT”) is responsible for credit trading in Emerging Europe & Asia and European IG & HY and US IG. The desk is a market maker in hard currency credit and supports the primary bond activity. Flow trading, credit analysis, pricing, structuring, execution, hedging, electronic/voice trading and distribution are key components of the business. The team interacts daily with Sales, Research and DCM/Syndicate. The operation is firmly centered around facilitating client activity in corporate and sovereign bonds. The team is a market maker in bonds for all the regions we operate in and an active player in credit derivative products. GCT aims to be at the front of the ongoing transformation in financial markets, focusing on data analytics and algorithmic trading. Successful candidates will be at the forefront of change, with a burning desire to improve performance through the adoption of technology.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
- GCT operates in a high-paced environment and is looking for a candidate to head the 2 member team making markets in European HY.
- The candidate will work closely with team members and interact regularly with Sales, Research and Risk Management functions.
- Provide liquidity competitively and consistently to Financial Markets clients with the objective of producing stable sustainable revenue.
- Provide support to DCM on secondary market liquidity on issuances and pricing & other market information.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share and promote INGs Credit Trading franchise.
- Understand credit research and form a credit view on issuers.

Candidate Profile:
Qualification/Education:
- University degree (at least 2:1).
Experience/Knowledge:
- Essential: At least 5 years’ European High Yield credit trading experience.
- Good understanding of CDS products.

- Essential: 'Can do' attitude, positive mindset, adaptability and resilience.
- Clear, concise, and transparent communicator.
- Disciplined, customer-focused and results-driven.
- Able to work under pressure and in a high-paced environment.
