About the Role: Working autonomously, with a focus on addressing underperformance within the lending portfolio. Manage booked assets, optimize returns, and collaborate with various teams. Focus on regulatory readiness and operational effectiveness
Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues from various teams including origination, transaction management, capital markets, loan distributions, risk, and legal.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage lending exposures from funding to repayment.
- Monitor credit, support cross-buy opportunities, and drive capital velocity.
- Handle credit reviews, amendments, and restructuring.
- Engage in capital velocity initiatives and monitor market developments.
- Prepare reports for regulators and stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and coach junior colleagues.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:/ Education
- Degree in business/economics, law, or relevant discipline. CFA/MBA is a plus.
Experience/ Knowledge
- 5+ years of lending execution/credit analysis experience.
- Experience in managing LBO restructuring/underperforming assets to work alongside senior Directors in the team.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, MS Excel, PowerPoint. PowerBI is a plus.
- Strong financial and credit analysis, presentation, and communication skills.
- Exposure to specialised lending and/or real asset sub-sectors is a plus.
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of lending legal documentation

Department Overview
The AF PM team manages ING’s Acquisition Finance lending exposures from initial funding to final repayment. It collaborates closely with various teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Portfolio Management Function: Each portfolio manager covers a set of clients, handling credit monitoring, analytics, risk, and reporting. The team supports cross-buy opportunities and capital velocity targets, with support from Global Lending in Dublin and the ING hub in the Philippines.
