Sitting within the Financial Institutions (‘FI’) Sector, the EMEA Fund Finance (‘FF’) team is part of a global business responsible for the origination and structuring of primarily lending transactions to funds managed by European financial sponsors and asset managers. Our clients are predominantly made up of unlisted funds investing in private equity, secondaries, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure, and are managed by leading financial sponsors across the globe. The product offering includes investor-backed capital call facilities, asset-backed NAV financing (across direct buyout, secondaries and private credit) and hybrid solutions combining the two approaches. The FF EMEA team is now looking to hire a Director into the team to support continued growth of the business as it looks to deliver on growth targets, drive product expansion into NAV financing and support wider ING sponsor relationships. The role will sit within the EMEA Sectors team, which is made up of experienced fund finance professionals focused on relationship management, origination and structuring of transactions.\’ Support growth targets, drive product expansion into NAV financing, and enhance ING sponsor relationships. Team Environment: Work within the EMEA Sectors team, alongside experienced fund finance professionals focused on relationship management, origination, and structuring transactions. Manage fund finance transactions as the Deal Principal. Structuring and Pricing : of fund finance transactions working with the Transaction Management team on execution and documentation negotiation. Identify opportunities to drive client value, enhance ING\’s lead bank proposition and increase ESG-related lending volumes. Maintain and develop senior-level sponsor relationships, delivering comprehensive banking solutions. Originate all manner of fund financing products, including capital call facilities and structured lending from NAV to hybrid solutions. Maintain high professional standards in fund finance industry and products. Fluent English (written and verbal), degree-level education. Relevant professional qualifications (CFA, CIMA), broader language skills. 10+ years in Funds Finance industry, 2+ years at Director level. ~ Proven track record in originating and executing subscription and NAV fund finance transactions. ~ Established network within the financial sponsor and fund finance sector. Experience leading fund finance transactions in an arranger/agency capacity. Private Credit NAV / ABL Finance Distribution/syndication track record in a bank. Technical understanding of capital relief instruments (SRTs, external ratings).
