The MarketView team, within the ING Financial Markets (FM) / Wholesale Banking (WB) division, is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of ING's ION Marketview platform. The team is composed of experienced Marketview professionals that work in collaboration with other teams from Client Services, Network/infra, and Analytics Tooling to deliver functionality and answer related queries for the Fixed Income Trading desks globally.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification/Education: Educated to bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience/Knowledge: 5+ years of experience in banking and finance, with a strong background & understanding of Financial Markets
- Exceptional in-depth knowledge of the Ion Marketview Platform, including MMI configuration, and platform administration
- Strong working experience with PXE, RefData, and Bloomberg MDATA components
- Experience of widely used Fixed Income trading platforms and ECN's (Tradeweb, Bloomberg, MarketAxess, Eurex ...)
- Detailed knowledge and experience of D2C and D2D electronics market flow
- Proven working knowledge and experience of Fixed Income credit, government and listed derivatives instruments, pricing and trade flows.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
- Delivering on BAU programme of work to ensure the MarketView platform is evergreen (iterative and continuous updates, upgrades, and configuration changes of the infrastructure supporting the platform)
- Provide first line support to the Fixed Income trading desks globally on ION issues across all supported products and services.
- Work closely with internal Technology teams (from and back office) to ensure that databases, servers, networks and shared resources for the ION platform are understood, performance optimised, and changes are planned adequately.
- The role will be a key stakeholder for the overall MarketView engineering capability within ING as such, provide reasonable assurances that the asset is in line with meeting business requirements whilst aligning with ING IT security policies:
- Service Management, Governance and Maintenance:
- The general operation of the service on a day-to-day basis
- Measurement, monitoring and analysis of service levels and key performance indicators (e.g. availability, performance etc.)
- Ensuring an effective incident management process
- Identification and resolution of service problems both as a result of service incidents and pro-actively
- Conduct accurate maintenance of application components in the ING Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Ensuring regular service reviews with internal consumers as well as 3rd parties for off-the-shelf applications
- Ensure internal assets in scope are in line with industry standards and global best practices
- Understanding ING's minimum standards in relation to IT risk and security and obtaining and creating evidence that demonstrates compliance to ING IS policies
- Determine impact of new/changed ING standards and policies
- Ensure that the necessary risk related activities are timely performed by the team and/or 3rd parties
- Assess certificates (like ISO) and Service Organization Control (SOC)/Audit reports, received from 3rd party, involving 1st Line of Defence Risk and prepares a concluding in control statement to be approved by 1st/2nd Line of Defence Risk and Asset Owner
- Assessing impact of change and ensuring appropriate planning and action
- Ensuring managed and controlled change to the internal asset solutions through planning, testing, deployment management
- Operating a change backlog management process in alignment with ING's OAWOW (one Agile Way of Working)
- Align with the 3rd party and internal stakeholders to establish and manage change and release plans
- Continuously improve test automation
- Initiate and manage improvement projects both in ING and where required 3rd party organizations to improve Service and/or Risk and Security Management
