Department Overview:
ING Financial Markets (FM) within Wholesale Banking (“WB”) is looking to hire an experienced candidate ION Repo Specialist to be based in London.
As part of the team, you will work on a dedicated roadmap focusing on Anvil & Repo eTrading. You will be working as part of a dedicated squad on an agile/sprint basis. The Team handles Repo eTrading deliveries from an ION, the software vendor for Anvil, for all ING locations globally. Integrating these into external venues/systems and Anvil, the Front Office Trade & Position keeping system. You will closely collaborate with the other Anvil Squads within ING and other teams from eServices for account/market setup to Proximity Hosting for network/infra related queries. The ability to think outside the box and problem solves solutions is a must.
As a contractor you will join an overall Anvil Capability team with a strong roadmap of work looking into 2025.

You will implement the high-level roadmaps (planning, co-ordination, dependencies management).

You will demonstrate the ability to operate independently, proactively and diligently on the assigned tasks to complete them on-time and right-first-time to the satisfaction of the Product Owner and Stakeholders.

Qualification/Education
Essential:

Educated to degree level.
Desirable:

Experience/Knowledge
Essential:

5+ years of experience in banking and finance, with a strong background in Financial Markets and strong business knowledge of Securities Financing products (lending, repo, …).

Experience in both D2D & D2C Repo trading globally.

Experience with IONs Repo Product Suites Anvil / eTrading / OMS.

Technical skills in multiple development languages, operating systems and database architectures (Unix/Windows/Oracle/TCL)

Experience with agile way of working.

Experience working in a complex and challenging IT environment.

Problem solving skills to find efficient ways of driving progress and removing impediments.
Desirable:
