Oracle PL SQL Developer – Perm – Hybrid Birmingham

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, 2-3 days in office)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

We\’re seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain business-critical applications. This role involves working with Oracle PL/SQL, APEX, and Salesforce to create efficient, scalable solutions. You\’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system functionality.

What You\’ll Do

Build and support database-driven applications using Oracle PL/SQL and APEX.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and implement technical requirements.
Optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Assist with system upgrades, security enhancements, and integrations.
Provide technical support, resolving issues effectively.

What You Bring

Strong SQL expertise, ideally with PL/SQL.
Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C#, Java).
Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
Exposure to DevOps tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
