Are you a Microsoft Security Engineer or Consultant who wants to own projects rather than just be given tasks to complete? We're working with a leading UK IT Solutions Provider looking for a Senior Microsoft Security Project Engineer to become one of their internal Microsoft Security SMEs.
This isn't a BAU security role.
You’ll take customer security projects from discovery and scoping through planning, hands‑on technical delivery, documentation and handover.
You’ll work across technologies including:
- Microsoft Defender
- Microsoft Purview
- Entra ID / Azure AD
- Conditional Access & MFA
- Microsoft 365 Security
- Security hardening & posture improvement
- Vulnerability management & remediation
- Intune / MDM / MAM
- Azure Security
What we're looking for:
You’ll already be a strong Microsoft Security Engineer / Consultant with experience implementing and delivering customer projects.
Just as importantly, you’ll be comfortable speaking directly with customers, running technical discussions, managing expectations and scope, and taking responsibility for getting projects delivered.
Experience within an MSP, MSSP, Microsoft Partner, IT Solutions Provider or technology consultancy would be highly advantageous.
Certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400/401 and AZ-500 would also be beneficial.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you're looking for more ownership, customer exposure and responsibility while remaining genuinely hands‑on with Microsoft Security technology.
Predominantly home-based London / South East preferred.
