Are you looking to join a fast paced MSP? Do you have an interest in consistent growth in your Networking and Security skills? The Network Support Engineer needs to come with passion and enthusiasm to stay consistently motivated to complete and deliver complex technical projects and escalations whilst consistently developing your expertise. Working within a fast paced MSP that is focused heavily on Network and Security, the Network Support Engineer needs to rapidly develop in this environment and perform at the top level. The role also includes acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk for 3rd Line Support tickets whilst working closely with the Technical Director. The Network Support Engineer would need to perform systems maintenance for all of their clients.

Key Skills:

  • Cisco (CCNP Desirable)
  • Fortinet - Fortigate firewalls (NSE 4 desirable)
  • LAN/WAN Experience
  • Datacentre connectivity
  • 3rd Line Escalations
  • MSP experience (Essential)

Responsibilities:

  • Systems Management: (40%)
    • Monitoring of production networks and infrastructure
    • Creation of detailed documents
    • Identifying improvements of networking systems and infrastructure
    • Support and training to team members
  • 3rd Line Support: (40%)
    • Troubleshooting and problem solving complex incidents of network/security
    • Overseeing and fixing network alerts
    • Network/security switch configuration
    • On call support (1-5) - This isn't required in the office unless serious circumstances
  • Project Work: (20%)
    • Working on small projects
    • DC and Client site deployments
    • Hands on technical expertise with Network and Security technologies
