SC Cleared DevOps Engineer – AWS – Home based. Experience building and operating secure, automated, cloud‑native platforms, ideally within public‑sector, policing, justice, or other security‑sensitive environments.

Comfortable working with LLM‑assisted engineering, and Claude is a strong bonus. This programme is already in delivery and requires a significant number (x40) of DevOps Engineers to accelerate build and deployment activity, with a target completion around mid-year.

Skills & experience:

  • SC Clearance – (NPPV3 ideally)
  • AWS - Building and operating secure, automated, cloud‑native platforms
  • DevOps – Software Engineering
  • Comfortable working with LLM‑assisted engineering, and Claude is a strong bonus
  • Experience working in an AWS, Postgres, React, Node environment
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
  • Deploy and manage applications using containerisation (Docker) and Kubernetes
  • Contribute to software engineering activities across the platform (not pure ops)
  • Work within cross-functional teams delivering a modern data platform
  • Support the migration from a legacy mainframe system to a cloud-native solution

Security Clearance:

  • SC Clearance – must be currently held (Home Office SC highly preferred)
  • NPPV Level 3 – not required upfront, but must be willing to undergo
