We're looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Automation Engineer to join a high-profile programme supporting secure, enterprise-scale environments. This is an opportunity to lead a team of skilled engineers, drive automation initiatives, champion Infrastructure as Code, and shape DevOps best practices across complex technology environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers
- Drive DevOps adoption, automation and engineering best practice
- Design and deliver Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling
- Provide technical leadership across projects and live environments
- Support solution design, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
Key Skills Experience:
- Experience leading DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering teams
- Strong automation, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform and Ansible skills
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python and/or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab
- Strong Microsoft infrastructure knowledge with exposure to Linux
- Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management skills
