We are looking for a Network Security Presales Solution Architect to join our award‑winning consultancy. You will work on a large pipeline, engaging on scoping calls, writing bids and proposals, and mentoring junior team members.
- Participate in scoping calls and craft proposals to bring the pipeline to life.
- Train junior members to create BOMs and write bids and proposals.
- Serve as the go‑to subject matter expert for Network Security and lead the division.
- Collaborate with other Solution Architects to cross‑sell and grow business.
- Qualify opportunities with sales teams and customers, understanding requirements and defining appropriate solutions.
- Produce secure and complex solutions, both within and outside compliance frameworks, with high‑quality designs.
- Drive the documentation and adoption of agreed standards during deployments.
- Assess commercial impact of solutions and assist customers and sales teams in selecting the right offering to meet budget and expectations.
- Provide technical guidance across product families and solutions for varying customer sizes and types.
- Act as a trusted adviser, building knowledge of customers’ environments and evangelising the team’s capabilities.
- Lead services capabilities and differentiate through productised services, consulting expertise and cloud solutions.
Qualifications:
- Heavy Core Cisco R&S LAN background.
- Bonus: experience with Aruba or Juniper.
- Strong networking, security, and solution design skills.
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing capabilities.
- Ability to mentor and train junior staff.
