We are looking for a Network Consultant to join our leading Solutions Provider. Your role will split across Professional Services and our Core Network, designing and implementing exceptional solutions for clients while ensuring that the internal network runs seamlessly. You may also support the service desk with final escalations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Core network management (50%)
  • Customer delivery (50%) to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across a multi-tenant environment.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a professional services environment
  • Exceptional client-facing skills
  • Low-level design and implementation of complex network solutions
  • Ability to manage and maintain an internal network
  • LAN / WAN / SD-WAN / Wireless experience
  • CCNP or higher
  • Fortinet – NSE7 ideally
  • Previous experience delivering Fortinet-based solutions
  • BGP, OSPF, VXLAN and MPLS routing environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional Services: Plan, design and implement LAN, wireless and security solutions for external clients; deliver Fortinet-based solutions (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and Cisco/Meraki solutions for new and existing customers; configure and deploy customer firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN and network segmentation designs.
  • Core Network: Manage and maintain core network infrastructure; administer and optimise BGP, OSPF and MPLS routing environments; manage core firewalls, routers and switches across data-centre and edge environments; develop automation scripts and tools (Python, Ansible, REST APIs) to streamline provisioning, configuration and monitoring.
