Senior Associate

The Client:

We are working with a leading Investment Bank and Financial Advisory firm in energy transition that is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join their team in London. As part of the team, you will get strong deal exposure and play a critical role in transaction execution and client advisory across the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Execution

• Lead end-to-end M&A and capital raise processes
• Own complex financial models (DCF, LBO) and capital structuring
• Incorporate commercial levers (e.g. repowering, colocation, ancillary markets) into models

Due Diligence & Legal

• Manage all due diligence streams (Technical, Legal, Tax, Financial)
• Coordinate with external advisors and support legal negotiations
• Review key contracts and oversee Q&A

Marketing & Investor Relations

• Develop investor materials (teasers, IMs, pitch decks)
• Present models and pitches to clients and investors
• Drive engagement and negotiation with investors and lenders

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, investment management, consulting, or financial advisory—ideally including renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance transactions.
• Demonstrated experience in leading projects and managing junior colleagues within deal teams.
• Willingness to travel often at short notice.
