Our client is one of Europe's leading specialist advisory firms focused on the infrastructure and energy sectors, having closed over 200 transactions. Part of a wider international financial group, the business combines the culture of a specialist boutique with global reach and is seeing significant growth in deal flow. The team is now looking to hire ambitious Analysts and Associates into its lean London-based advisory team, with significant exposure to M&A and capital raising transactions across European infrastructure and energy.
What the role involves:
- Build and own financial models, including DCF valuations and debt sizing, to support transactions and client advice
- Engage directly with clients and a wide network of investors and lenders
- Support and lead the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions across the infrastructure and energy sectors in Europe
- Prepare marketing materials, including teasers, information memoranda and client presentations
- Coordinate due diligence workstreams with clients, investors, lenders and external advisers
Candidate Profile
- Outstanding academic background, with strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- 2-6 years' experience in investment banking (M&A or debt advisory), or at an infrastructure or energy fund, developer or IPP, with exposure to transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial understanding of infrastructure and energy assets and project economics
- Collaborative, low-ego team player who is confident sharing views with clients and colleagues
