Our client is a leading boutique advisory firm, specialising exclusively in the energy transition space. Highly regarded within the mid-market, the firm has built a strong track record delivering corporate finance, capital raising and advisory services to clients navigating the rapidly evolving clean energy landscape. The team are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Associate or Vice President to join the advisory team in London, playing a central role in transaction execution and client advisory across clean energy and energy transition.

What the role involves:

  • Lead or support full execution of M&A and capital raise transactions across the clean energy sector, from origination through to close.
  • Build and own advanced financial modelling (DCF, LBO) and complex capital structuring, including financing, refinancing and tax considerations.
  • Manage due diligence workstreams (financial, legal, tax, technical) and coordinate directly with external legal and technical advisors.
  • Produce high-quality marketing materials and present these to clients and investors.
  • Engage and negotiate directly with a broad network of investors and lenders.

Candidate profile:

  • 3+ years' experience in investment banking, investment management, consulting, or financial advisory – renewable energy, infrastructure or project finance exposure preferred.
  • Track record supporting deal execution and managing junior colleagues within a team.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly independent, with strong initiative and project management skills, comfortable working under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Genuine interest in the energy transition, backed by a strong academic background.
