We are partnering with a leading Institutional Investor in infrastructure and renewable energy that is seeking a highly motivated Investment Professional to join their team in London. The fund targets equity and junior debt investments across core, core+ and value-add infrastructure, renewable energy and other adjacent sectors across Europe. The team in London has a significant capital deployment target and a large pipeline of potential investment opportunities. This is a hands-on role withing a highly dynamic and collaborative that offers full deal exposure with the opportunity to work on the entire transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support due diligence and analysis for direct and fund investments, including financial performance review, investment characteristics, management assessment, and modelling.
- Contribute to legal and tax workstreams
- Help prepare and present investment committee materials for proposed investments.
- Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Support the bi-annual valuation process of direct and fund investments.
- Participate in travel for due diligence or investment oversight when required.
- Contribute to transaction sourcing, including screening and documenting potential opportunities.
- Assist in developing long-term and tactical portfolio strategies.
- Conduct research on industries, companies, and funds.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience within a leading private equity / asset management firm, investment bank
- Relevant transaction experience across infrastructure and renewables
- Strong demonstrated financial analysis, financial modelling, and valuation skills
- Fluency or proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus
