We are partnering with a specialist real assets investment manager that is expanding its European platform following the launch of a new natural capital and sustainable forestry strategy. The firm deploys capital globally and is building a dedicated team in London to invest across Europe, with a focus on long‑term value creation, responsible land management, and measurable environmental impact.
The team is lean, highly collaborative, and offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to a growing platform with a clear impact mission.
The Role
This is a broad, hands‑on investment role with exposure across the full lifecycle of natural capital and forestry investments— from origination and modelling through to due diligence, execution, portfolio monitoring, and impact reporting. You will work closely with senior leadership on both new acquisitions and the ongoing performance of assets across Europe. Depending on experience, you will also take increasing ownership of portfolio oversight, valuations, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and execution of investments across sustainable forestry and natural capital.
- Develop and maintain financial and portfolio models.
- Assist with due diligence, coordinating external advisors where required.
- Prepare materials for investment committees and internal reviews.
- Contribute to portfolio monitoring, reporting, and impact measurement.
- Undertake market research across timber, land, carbon, and biodiversity markets.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, ideally gained in investment banking, advisory, consulting, or investment roles.
- Exposure to forestry, natural capital, or land‑based real assets is highly beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Interest in sustainable land management, natural capital markets, and long‑term asset stewardship.
- Additional European languages are an advantage.
