We\’re hiring a Senior Project Controls Manager to join a high-performing team delivering one of the most complex and high-profile transport programmes in the country.

This is more than just another project controls role. You’ll lead integrated controls strategy across cost, schedule, and risk — driving performance and accountability in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment that’s reshaping national infrastructure.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Own and lead integrated project controls across a major programme (cost, schedule, risk, reporting)
• Drive earned value and performance management systems that support executive-level decision-making
• Build and manage a high-performing controls team, championing quality, consistency, and insight
• Collaborate with commercial, planning, and delivery teams to align controls with programme strategy
• Deliver controls governance and reporting in line with NEC contract frameworks and best practice

✅ What You Bring

• Experience managing project controls on major infrastructure, transport, or rail programmes (£500m+)
• Deep knowledge of cost control, planning (Primavera P6), risk analysis, and data-led reporting (Power BI a plus)
• Consultancy mindset — confident engaging with clients and senior stakeholders at programme level
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow teams in a dynamic delivery environment
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 and working within structured governance frameworks
