Weβre hiring a Senior Project Controls Engineer to take a lead role in the successful delivery of complex, high-value infrastructure and defence programmes.
This is an opportunity to step into a senior position within a delivery-focused team, supporting critical UK projects in transport, civils, or secure infrastructure. Youβll be responsible for driving planning, cost, and risk control across the full project lifecycle β ensuring leadership teams have the data and insight they need to make confident decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project controls across cost, schedule, risk, and change
- Develop and maintain baselines, forecasts, and earned value performance reporting
- Run project reviews, variance analysis, and what-if scenarios
- Oversee integrated dashboards and KPIs (e.g., Power BI, Excel, P6-based outputs)
- Collaborate with commercial, planning, and delivery teams across multi-disciplinary environments
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and help embed best practice controls frameworks
What Weβre Looking For
- Significant experience in project controls roles on major infrastructure or engineering programmes
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 , earned value, and cost/schedule integration
- Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Excel, and project control/reporting platforms
- Comfortable working in structured environments aligned to client-side governance
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (engineering, construction, or project management preferred)
