We’re working with a bespoke consultancy looking to hire an experienced Senior / Lead Planner with a planning engineer background. This role suits someone who has worked with principal contractors and has strong NEC contract experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead planning on major UK infrastructure projects and support clients with programme development, change, and risk.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading planning activities on infrastructure projects under NEC4 contracts
  • Creating and managing programmes using Primavera P6 (including cost-loaded plans)
  • Managing programme change, delays, and impacts
  • Producing clear reports and programme analysis
  • Working closely with delivery teams and senior stakeholders
  • Supporting risk and mitigation planning
  • Improving planning processes and best practice

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in infrastructure or civil engineering planning
  • Experience working for or alongside principal contractors
  • Solid NEC4 contract knowledge
  • Advanced Primavera P6 experience
