Infraspec are recruiting a Senior Project Controls Manager for a landmark industrial construction programme, one of the most ambitious capital projects in Europe.
The role:
Reporting to the Head of Project Performance & Controls, you will lead programme‑wide planning and scheduling excellence across a complex CAPEX portfolio. You will lead the Integrated Master Schedule, ensure strong governance, and provide expert insight to senior stakeholders, driving predictable, safe, and on‑time delivery. You will also lead and develop a high‑performing Project Controls and Planning team, embedding best practice and ensuring a single version of the truth across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and govern the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all projects and contractors
- Lead planning strategy, standards, tools, and governance (Primavera P6)
- Deliver robust baseline schedules and schedule risk analysis
- Integrate planning with cost, risk, change, and EVM performance
- Provide senior‑level reporting, insight, and decision support
- Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and CDM Regulations
- Lead, coach, and develop the Project Controls function
Candidate background
- Degree‑qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
- Extensive experience on large, complex industrial or infrastructure CAPEX programmes
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, CPM, EVM, and schedule risk analysis
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts
- Proven leader with the ability to influence at senior level
- APM certifications and membership desirable
