We’re partnering with a high-end consultancy that’s delivering a diverse portfolio of UK-based infrastructure projects. Their work spans grid-scale battery energy storage, flexible generation, and future-facing technologies. Backed by institutional investment and entering a significant growth phase, the business is now seeking a Commercial Manager to assist with the commercial delivery of a major Battery Storage Project currently moving into the construction phase with 5 years left to run.

You’ll lead the commercial function on a major battery storage project currently moving into the construction/delivery phase with 5 years left to build:
- Full commercial management of grid-scale energy projects (BESS, flexible generation, and emerging technologies).
- Managing post-contract commercial activities including change control, forecasting, and reporting.
- Providing commercial input into investment appraisals and project finance processes.
- Working closely with project, engineering, finance, and delivery teams to ensure alignment.
- Supporting the growth of the commercial function and mentoring junior team members.
You will need:
- 7+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying or commercial management roles, with leadership exposure.
- Excellent working knowledge of NEC contracts and full project lifecycle delivery.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- UK right to work and a driving licence (occasional site visits required).
