Due to continued growth across the infrastructure sector, one of our key clients has engaged us to recruit multiple Cost Engineers across a portfolio of major capital programmes. At Infraspec, we specialise exclusively in Project Controls recruitment across infrastructure, transportation, energy, defence and major programmes. These opportunities offer the chance to work within high-performing Project Controls teams supporting complex, large-scale projects across the full project lifecycle. We are keen to speak with professionals who have experience across cost management, forecasting, reporting and project performance within infrastructure or major project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting project cost control and performance reporting activities
  • Developing and maintaining budgets, forecasts and cost reports
  • Monitoring project expenditure, trends and cost variances
  • Supporting earned value management (EVM) and performance analysis
  • Working closely with planning, commercial and delivery teams
  • Producing clear and accurate reporting for stakeholders and senior management
  • Supporting integrated Project Controls functions across major programmes

Experience Required:

  • Experience within Cost Engineering, Cost Control or Project Controls environments
  • Infrastructure, construction or major capital project experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, cost reporting and project performance
  • Knowledge of earned value management principles
  • Advanced Excel capability with experience using Project Controls systems and reporting tools
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Power BI or similar platforms would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
