A leading consultancy supporting a major UK energy and infrastructure programme is seeking experienced Planning Managers to join their team. This role will be integral to the successful delivery of complex high-voltage energy projects across the UK. The position sits within a high-profile delivery environment focused on large-scale power and utilities infrastructure, including substations, overhead line systems, and transmission and distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee planning activities across major energy infrastructure programmes
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules
- Coordinate planning functions across multidisciplinary project teams
- Provide clear reporting and schedule analysis to support programme performance
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Planning Manager or Lead Planner within infrastructure or energy sectors
- Strong background in high-voltage projects, including substations, overhead lines, or transmission and distribution networks
- Experience leading planning teams or managing planning across large programmes
- Good understanding of NEC contract frameworks
- Background working with contractors, utilities, or engineering consultancies
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software
