I’m currently working with a leading consultancy supporting a major UK energy and infrastructure programme, and they’re looking to appoint experienced Planning Managers. This is a key role within a high-profile HV delivery environment, covering complex power and utilities projects including:
- Substations
- Overhead Lines (OHL)
- Transmission & Distribution (T&D)
You’ll be responsible for overseeing planning functions across major programmes, ensuring schedules are accurate, fully integrated, and aligned with project delivery strategies.
What they’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Planning Manager / Lead Planner in infrastructure or energy
- Strong exposure to HV projects (substations, OHL, T&D networks)
- Experience leading or coordinating planning teams / major programmes
- Solid understanding of NEC contracts
- Background with contractors, utilities, or consultancy environments
- Strong ability with Primavera P6 or equivalent tools
