Our client is an ambitious professional services consultancy, expanding their Digital Project Controls team to help clients transform how they plan, monitor, and deliver programmes and portfolios.

This is a client-facing role, supporting major infrastructure and public-sector programmes from inception, helping organisations define what they want to track, how to monitor progress, and which digital tools and platforms to use.

The Role

  • Work with clients at the earliest stage of programmes to understand objectives, outcomes, and reporting needs
  • Advise on P3M frameworks and how they can be applied digitally
  • Design and implement project controls solutions across cost, schedule, risk, and performance
  • Recommend and deploy digital platforms and reporting tools (PPM, scheduling, cost systems, BI dashboards)
  • Support business change and stakeholder engagement, ensuring solutions are adopted effectively
  • Act as a trusted advisor across programme and project teams
  • At senior levels, support capability growth, mentoring, and team leadership

About You

  • We’re looking to speak to professionals with:
  • Experience in Project Controls consulting or advisory roles
  • Strong knowledge of P3M principles and frameworks
  • Experience working directly with clients at programme inception
  • Familiarity with digital project controls platforms:
  • PPM systems
  • Scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Cost management platforms
  • Data visualisation / BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to translate client needs into practical digital solutions
  • Experience on major capital programmes or complex portfolios is highly desirable
