Working on some of the UK's most significant infrastructure, defence, energy, transport and engineering programmes, you'll play a critical role in helping clients deliver projects with confidence through robust project controls, data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

The Opportunity

Project Controls sits at the centre of every successful programme.

As part of a high-performing team, you'll help clients improve project certainty by providing accurate reporting, performance analysis and governance that enables informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

You'll work alongside project managers, planners, commercial teams and senior client stakeholders, supporting the successful delivery of nationally significant programmes while developing your expertise across multiple project controls disciplines.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Support cost management, forecasting and earned value activities.
  • Produce high-quality project controls reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Analyse programme performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support risk management, change control and governance processes.
  • Deliver meaningful project insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary delivery teams and client stakeholders across major programmes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project controls processes, tools and best practices.

About You

You may have experience in

You'll ideally bring

  • Experience within infrastructure, construction, engineering, defence, energy, transport or other complex project environments.
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts and structured project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel or equivalent project controls tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex project data.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential.
