An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a growing infrastructure and asset management environment supporting a portfolio of PFI/PPP projects across the UK. This role will focus on commercial management, variations management, PFI expiry, contract support, stakeholder engagement, and resolving complex operational and contractual matters across live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial matters including variations, benchmarking, market testing, and dispute resolution.
- Support with PFI handback.
- Provide commercial and contractual support to operational teams and project stakeholders.
- Review and interpret project agreements and contractual obligations.
- Support project governance, reporting, and commercial risk management.
- Attend project and SPV board meetings where required.
- Liaise with legal advisors, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain commercial reporting and issue tracking.
About You
- Proven commercial management experience within PFI/PPP, infrastructure, construction, or FM sectors.
- Experienced in PFI handback.
- Strong understanding of contracts and commercial risk.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and report-writing abilities.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
