Our client is a leading infrastructure investor who are seeking a high-performing Commercial Manager to play a central role in the continued growth of the business. This is a key position within the Business Development team, reporting directly to the Director leading the unit.

Key Focus Areas

The Commercial Manager will be central to:

  • Leading new business and product development
  • Owning contract and pricing activity
  • Driving marketing and communications
Key Responsibilities

New Business

  • Manage and maintain a live order book and pipeline register
  • Draft bids and proposals in response to tenders and client requests
  • Develop and enhance services and products through innovation, delivering optimisation, efficiency and value for clients
  • Support colleagues on opportunities from inception, including origination, primary and secondary deals

Contract & Pricing

  • Support and participate in corporate governance and assurance activity (e.g., contract review committees)
  • Draft, review and negotiate contract documents and agreements
  • Prepare fee calculations and quotations to inform pricing decisions
  • Undertake due diligence as required, analysing resource allocations, contract status (including expiry dates), and profitability

Marketing & Communications

  • Support development of marketing collateral including pitchbooks, website content, product sheets, brand materials and imagery
  • Manage and oversee marketing channels including the website and LinkedIn
  • Support and attend industry events as required
  • Maintain stakeholder and customer engagement to strengthen relationships and drive long-term value
Minimum Qualifications (Guide)
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline
Minimum Experience (Guide)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the built environment
  • Proven delivery of services across major infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of PFI and PPP
  • Experience operating at a senior level with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Broad skillset including presentation, reporting and analytical capability
  • Marketing and sales experience
