Purpose
As Financial Controller, Central Finance, you have a pivotal leader role shaping the future of InfraRed’s corporate finance function. This role sits at the heart of the organization’s financial engine — driving high-quality reporting, strengthening financial controls, and steering the firm through an exciting phase of evolution and growth. You’ll work directly with the Head of Central Finance to build a modern, scalable finance platform that underpins InfraRed’s next chapter. Leading a talented team of four, you’ll set the standard for excellence, embed a culture of continuous improvement, and play a key role in how InfraRed partners with its ultimate parent, Sun Life Financial. This is a role for someone who thrives on challenge, enjoys building capability, and excels in high-impact stakeholder environments.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire InfraRed’s corporate accounting team to deliver fast, accurate, and scalable financial reporting that supports high-velocity decision-making.
- Drive ownership of monthly close, reporting to parent, and regulatory returns, ensuring impeccable accuracy, tight deadlines, and strong financial discipline.
- Set the benchmark for governance by overseeing statutory financial statements and the audit process with a relentless focus on quality and compliance.
- Take charge of VAT returns.
