Quantity Surveyor Opportunity: Infracon Australia are working with a number of reputable Perth Building Main Contractors who are recruiting Quantity Surveyors and we are interested in talking to QSs who have a Visa or are about to apply for one and move to Australia in the imminent future. Sectors that are busy include apartments, education, health, aged care, commercial, residential, defence, retail and industrial for both government and private clients. Once the Quantity Surveyor is on the ground and working for a company on their 417 Visa, after they have passed their probation, the employer will look to sponsor them enabling the Quantity Surveyor to gain Permanent Residency and eventually Australian Citizenship. Should the Quantity Surveyor wish to return to the UK, they can decline the opportunity of sponsorship and stay up to 3 years on this Visa. There is a strong emphasis on work life balance with most Quantity Surveyors working between 38 – 45 hours per week. Most building contractors in Perth have relatively young management, they offer flexible working arrangements, no set hours and working from home as required. We are looking for Quantity Surveyors who satisfy the following criteria: ·2+ years commercial building experience with main contractors as a Quantity Surveyor ·Experience in either education, health, community, correctional, apartments, aged care, commercial, defence, retail or industrial ·Tertiary educated Quantity Surveyor or Construction Management & Economics ·Australian Working Rights, 417 Visa Holders are encouraged to apply 150 - 200k / £75 – 100k package incl Superannuation/Pension (commensurate with experience) net.au
