About Our Client
Our client is a highly rated, rapidly expanding player in the UK's green infrastructure and energy transition sector. Backed by multi-million-pound investments from major renewable energy investors and institutional lenders, they are building the sustainable networks of the future. With a rapidly growing footprint across the UK and an established member base, they focus heavily on customer-centric design and community engagement, ensuring that the transition to net‑zero is seamless for both consumer and commercial audiences.
The Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a proactive, curious, and hands‑on marketer to join their growing team. They are considering profiles at either the Marketing Executive or Marketing Manager level, depending on your depth of experience and background. This is a dynamic generalist role sitting right at the intersection of brand, community, and commercial growth. Whether you are a seasoned Manager (3–5 years' experience) ready to own physical site marketing and regional campaigns, or an ambitious Executive (1–3 years' experience) with strong CRM skills looking to take on real ownership, this role offers incredible variety from day one. You will work across digital campaigns, physical site activations, CRM automation, and local partnership marketing—making this a uniquely varied position in a fast‑moving, sustainable business.
Core Responsibilities
- Campaigns & Comms: Oversee and deliver end‑to‑end B2C and B2B campaigns across owned channels (CRM, email, social) and local PR. Adapt messaging and content for diverse commercial fleets and consumer audiences.
- CRM & Email Marketing (Executive Focus): Own the day‑to‑day delivery of the email programme via platforms like HubSpot. Build automated customer journeys to drive retention, habit‑building, and member utilisation.
- Physical Environment & Site Marketing (Manager Focus): Manage signage, wayfinding, and branded environments at regional infrastructure hubs. Travel regularly to network sites to assess customer experience and uncover local marketing opportunities.
- Events & Activations: Plan and execute brand activations, local events, and partner‑led initiatives around the network (e.g., site launches, promotional pop‑ups).
- Partnerships & Onboarding: Build relationships with local businesses and oversee the smooth onboarding of key user groups, such as large commercial fleets and corporate partners.
- Content & Creative: Assist with content planning and asset delivery across owned channels. Act as a brand guardian, briefing creative teams and ensuring all output hits high standards.
Key Skills & Experience Looked For
We want to hear from candidates who possess a mix of the following (the client doesn't expect you to have all of them—the level will be matched to your unique strengths):
- Experience: 1–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in a fast‑paced generalist, campaign‑led, or relevant marketing agency role.
- Channel Experience: Hands‑on experience with a CRM/email platform (HubSpot is a strong advantage) OR experience marketing in physical environments (retail, hospitality, transport, utilities, etc.).
- Project Management: Organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and asset delivery simultaneously.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for copy, design, and maintaining brand standards.
- Mindset: Curious, practical, and data‑comfortable—someone who wants to truly understand the customer and the product.
- Sector Interest: A genuine interest in sustainability, net‑zero infrastructure, or the wider energy transition sector.
