About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and curious Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is a brilliant generalist role with a heavy CRM focus, sitting right at the heart of our customer and partner marketing activity. The successful candidate will work across email, content, events, campaigns, and partnerships—helping our business drive user engagement, build lasting customer habits, and support our ambitious commercial objectives in the green tech sector. Day-to-day, you'll take full ownership of our email programme through HubSpot, working with colleagues across the business to deliver targeted campaigns, improve automated journeys, and sharpen our messaging. Beyond CRM, you'll get involved in content creation, shoot planning, localized events, loyalty programmes, and onboarding key commercial partners. This is a genuinely varied role for someone who wants broad marketing experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants real ownership and variety from day one. Our business is at an exciting inflection point—having recently expanded through a major acquisition—and this role sits at the centre of our efforts to turn that growth into deeper, more loyal relationships with our customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- CRM and Email Marketing
- Campaign Ownership: Manage the day-to-day delivery of our email programme via HubSpot—both managing ad hoc campaigns and building/improving automated customer journeys.
- Performance Optimization: Work with the wider team to improve the messaging, design, and performance of our emails to drive higher open rates, click-throughs, and overall engagement.
- Retention & Habit Building: Use email and CRM activity to increase retention and product utilisation, helping new users seamlessly adopt our sustainable infrastructure network into their daily routines.
- Reporting: Monitor email programme performance and use data to identify continuous opportunities for improvement.
- Content Creation
- Planning & Execution: Assist the senior digital team with content planning, creation, and review across all owned digital channels.
- Media Shoots: Help plan and execute content shoots, coordinating logistics and supporting the team on-site.
- Brand Guardrails: Review and proofread copy to ensure it aligns perfectly with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Events and Activations
- Site Launches: Support the delivery of corporate events and local community activations, including new infrastructure site launches and on-site promotional activity.
- Logistics: Coordinate materials and on-the-day execution to ensure events run smoothly and elevate our brand presence.
- Partnerships and Onboarding
- Partner Success: Oversee the onboarding of key user groups, including large commercial accounts, corporate partners, and fleet clients, ensuring a smooth and clear experience.
- Collateral Development: Collaborate with the commercial and growth teams to develop high-quality onboarding materials and communications tailored to partner audiences.
- Loyalty and Rewards
- Programme Management: Work with the wider marketing team and third-party vendors to manage our loyalty and rewards programmes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Data Review: Analyze engagement data to assess programme performance and feed insights back to the wider team.
- Reporting and Data
- KPI Tracking: Support the team with regular marketing KPI reporting, compiling data from across various platforms and analytics tools.
- Cross-Functional Support: Handle data requests from commercial and sales functions, providing accurate and timely insights.
- General Team Support
- Collaboration: Support the wider marketing function with asset delivery, creative briefing, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Team Culture: Be an active, energetic, and inclusive participant in team culture and wider cross-organisational initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
- CRM Experience: Hands-on experience with a CRM or email marketing platform (HubSpot experience is a strong advantage).
- Communication: Exceptional written communication skills with a sharp eye for copy, detail, and visual design.
- Project Management: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
- Data-Literate: Comfortable pulling reports, interpreting performance metrics, and presenting findings clearly.
- Attitude: A collaborative team player who is curious, proactive, keen to learn, and happy to turn their hand to a range of tasks.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 1–3 years of generalist marketing experience, ideally within a fast-paced B2B, B2C, or tech environment.
- Systems: Familiarity with CRM workflows and email marketing tools (HubSpot preferred).
- Passions: An interest in sustainability, green technology, clean energy, or modern infrastructure is a major plus, though not essential.
- Drive: A self-starter who is just as comfortable executing daily administrative tasks as they are supporting broader strategic campaigns.
